FSPA time is just around the corner! For those of you who are not aware of the wonder that is FSPA, basically, Literary Magazine, Newspaper, CBTV, Yearbook and all other publications made by high school students can be showcased here. There's various contests and competitions in many areas for recognition. It's on a Saturday Nov. 7 and it lasts half a day. Once there, you can participate in live competitions, attend workshops and talks, eat lots of pizza, and meet other creative individuals from other schools that are doing the same thing as you. Most FSPA reunions begin with a mini 8am rave where they blast music and announce the winners for the Digital Contests... we better hear our name there!!! Districts this year will be in Nova Southeastern University. Anyone in the club is welcome to attend regardless if you're competing. The fee is $20 and it covers food. You will need to find your own ride since it is on a Saturday. Our first order of business though is the digital contests. Every year, we try to enter all contests. Attached is a picture of the flyer. The due date for uploading is Sept. 30th. We need the actual works by Sept. 25th so that we can edit them and upload them successfully. If you are interested in any of the categories (doesn't need to be under Literary Magazine but it is preferred) please email us or let Vicky or Olivia know so that we can coordinate and have you participate.

If we have more than one entry per contest, we'll have to compare and choose the better suited one. This is an amazing opportunity to really show your creativity, represent your club and school, and put something extra special on your college resume.

You WILL get a class grade for this if you submit on time and are in one of Seigel's creative writing classes.
